When KMD Architects of San Francisco recognized the need to add an audiovisual technology advisor to its project team, the firm turned to DSG. In doing so, it not only elevated its credibility for Hoag decision makers, but DSG's architectural and engineering experience paid off early in the design stage.

Hoag needed to distribute high-resolution and high-definition images to its clinical and non-clinical environments. These included an operating and interventional procedure room with 24 platforms, five conference rooms, and a conference center with multiple room configuration adaptability.

Hoag's requirement for the integration of diverse technologies presented some interesting challenges. DSG, with its deep experience in audiovisual and multimedia, designed a system that distributes uncompressed, high-resolution digital images and video between the surgical and interventional platforms. The system also distributes streaming video and images to all network-connected meeting and conference spaces. This enables fluid information and image dissemination throughout the facility, saving time and money in collaborative environments.
